We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sportswear Designer to help shape the future collections. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sportswear trends, fabric technology, and a keen eye for design aesthetics. You’ll be collaborating closely with the product development, marketing, and athletic teams to create high-performance, functional, and stylish sportswear.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, design, and develop innovative sportswear collections from initial idea to finished product.
• Research and stay up-to-date on the latest sportswear trends, materials, and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product developers, athletes, and marketing, to ensure designs meet performance and aesthetic goals.
• Create sketches, technical drawings, and prototypes using design software and tools.
• Select appropriate materials, ensuring functionality, comfort, and sustainability.
• Provide input on color palettes, patterns, and fit based on performance needs and market demands.
• Attend fittings and make adjustments based on feedback to perfect product performance.
• Ensure designs align with the brand’s identity, values, and target audience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a sportswear or activewear designer.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, performance fabrics, and technical design.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD.
• Strong sketching skills and attention to detail.
• A solid understanding of sports culture and the specific needs of athletes.
• Ability to work well in a team, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
