Labourer

• Hourly pay: £14.85 per hour PAYE / £19.52 per hour Umbrella
• Location: Derby
• Job Type: Temporary (6 weeks with potential for extension and possibility to go perm)

We are seeking a Labourer to join a large housing association on a temporary basis, covering a patch within the Derby area. This role is ideal for someone who is physically fit and has general experience in construction tasks such as fencing, paving, drainage, and brickwork.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Installing fences, laying paving, and constructing drainage systems.
• Engaging in various brickwork projects.
• Ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and meet safety regulations.
• Working efficiently to meet project deadlines.
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth operation on site.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• General experience in ground working or similar roles.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform labour-intensive tasks.
• Knowledge of safe construction practices.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
