CareerMakers are currently looking for a Piping Commissioning Engineer to join our client in the Deeside, CH5 area.

Start Date: Immediately

Hours of Work: Monday-Friday 07:00am-17:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Verify correct installation of all pipework, supports, and routing as per design specifications
• Read, interpret, and work from P&ID, isometric, and general arrangement drawings
• Monitor commissioning progress and report updates or delays to site management
• Communicate effectively with construction, QA/QC, and commissioning teams to resolve
• technical issues
• Perform detailed inspections of piping systems to ensure compliance with project standards
• Identify and record any non-conformances or outstanding works through structured punch list processes
• Liaise with welding inspectors and support quality assurance in line with industry codes and procedures
• Support pressure testing, flushing, and final system handover activities
• Maintain accurate documentation throughout the commissioning process

Requirements:

• Strong experience in piping commissioning
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of team
• Valid CSCS and relevant qualifications
• References from previous works
