The Junior Proposals Manager works alongside the Senior Proposals Manager to help pull together clear, engaging, and well-organised bid and tender submissions. Day to day, the role involves teaming up with colleagues across different departments, gathering the right information, shaping it into strong proposal content, and making sure everything is accurate, polished, and delivered on time. You’ll help coordinate reviews, support the development of win themes and bid strategies, and use tools like Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office to create professional, visually appealing documents. There’s also a creative side to the role — keeping brand consistency in check, maintaining libraries of useful content, and staying up to date with industry trends so submissions keep improving.
Beyond proposal work, the role includes getting involved in wider company activities, like attending client events, supporting team development, and helping promote the business externally. You’ll be expected to maintain a professional approach, follow internal quality and environmental procedures, and keep any required training certifications up to date. Overall, it’s a hands-on role where you’ll contribute to a positive team culture and help ensure the Pre-Construction function continues to grow and refine how it works.
