Up to £43,000 per annum
OTE:
£60,000+ (with door-to-door pay, overtime, and on-call bonuses)
The Opportunity
TSM Technical is working on behalf of a well-established service partner in the door systems industry. We're looking for a Service Engineer to cover the
Midlands
, supporting a growing client base across commercial, retail, and industrial sectors.
This is a varied and rewarding role focused on the
installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair
of automatic and industrial doors. The position offers

Key Responsibilities
-
Service, repair, and install: Automatic sliding, swing, folding, and revolving doors. Industrial shutters, roller doors, and sectional doors

Diagnose faults and recommend cost-effective solutions

Respond to emergency call-outs and breakdowns

Complete all job reporting using a company-issued iPad

Follow health & safety procedures and wear full PPE

Deliver high standards of customer service while on site

Participate in the on-call rota (approx. 1 in 5/6 weeks)
What Youll Need
Essential:
-
Minimum 2 years experience with automatic doors
-
EN16005 or BS7036 qualification
-
Full UK driving licence
-
CSCS card
-
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
-
Comfortable with digital reporting (iPad/tablet use)
Desirable:
-
Experience with industrial doors
-
IPAF, PASMA, or DHF accreditation

On-Call Pay: £175/week + bonuses for call-outs

Overtime Rates: 1.5x after 5:00 PM; 2x on Sundays & Bank Holidays
