Senior Quantity Surveyor - Structural Steel

Salary: €70K - €80K + car allowance
Location: Cork

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established company in the structural steel sector. With a strong pipeline of work for 2025, this role offers excellent career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procure and manage subcontractors, oversee work packages, and finalise accounts.
• Allocate labour and equipment for on-site tasks.
• Review construction drawings and manage variations and claims.
• Prepare and submit payment applications, following up on outstanding payments.
• Conduct take-offs for structural steel, decking, and cladding.
• Handle final accounts and liaise with clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 year's experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel or general construction.
• Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and project management tools.
• Familiarity with the Irish steel work market is an advantage.
