We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to lead the delivery of mechanical services on a large scale industrial facility in Somerset.

The ideal candidate will oversee all on-site mechanical activities, ensuring safety, quality, and programme adherence while collaborating closely with the wider construction and MEP teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and supervise all mechanical installation works on site
• Ensure compliance with our clients security procedures, CDM regulations, and relevant H&S standards
• Review RAMS, method statements, and ensure all processes are correctly implemented
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and client stakeholders
• Track progress against the construction programme and deliver regular updates
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover phases
• Maintain QA records and ensure all works meet specification and quality requirements

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience as a Mechanical Site Manager on complex construction projects
• Strong background in MEP building services installation
• Solid understanding of mechanical and HVAC systems
• Effective communicator with proven leadership and coordination capabilities
• Ability to manage subcontractors and drive on-site performance
• Experience on large industrial projects is a strong advantage
• CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certificates preferred
