My Cheltenham based client are seeking a well-presented, friendly, and trustworthy Design & Sales Consultant to join their inspiring, design-led tile showroom in Cheltenham.
Day-to-day of the role:

Greet customers and assist them in finding the perfect tiling solutions for their projects.

Inspire customers with creative ideas and expert advice on tiling.

Complete sales transactions accurately and efficiently.

Stay informed about our ever-evolving product ranges to keep up with changing tile trends.

Provide tailored design solutions and guide customers through the sales process.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Prepare detailed design proposals, product recommendations, and visual drawings as needed.

Present design solutions to clients, incorporating their feedback to finalize sales.

Maintain a welcoming and tidy showroom environment.

Keep abreast of the latest design trends, products, and industry developments.

Contribute to the internal team by sharing expertise and assisting in curating showroom displays.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in a design consultant or sales consultant role within the interior design industry.

Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, and aesthetics.

Experience in luxury retail with an appreciation for high-end products and customer service expectations.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in design software (e.g., Virtual Worlds, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) is preferred.

Knowledge of construction materials, finishes, and product specifications.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Results-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets.
