Reed Business Support are looking for a Graduate to join our client's growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate with a background in Journalism, English, Editorial, or Marketing to kick-start a career in bids, proposals, and commercial writing within the construction sector.

As a Graduate Bid Writer, you will support the creation of high-quality submissions for Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and Invitation to Tender (ITTs) . You’ll work closely with experienced Bid Writers and wider teams to produce compelling, client-focused content that helps win new business.

You’ll be involved from initial tender release through to final submission, gaining full exposure to the bid lifecycle.

• Supporting the creation of PQQ and ITT submissions
• Writing clear, engaging and tailored responses to client questions
• Reviewing tender documents to extract key information
• Working with internal teams (e.g. estimating, operations) to gather technical content
• Editing and proofing submissions to ensure clarity, quality, and consistency
• Maintaining bid content libraries, CVs, and case studies
• Assisting with marketing collateral, including LinkedIn posts, website updates and brochures

We’re looking for someone who is:

• A recent graduate in Journalism, English, Editorial, Marketing or similar
• An excellent writer with strong attention to detail
• Highly organised with the ability to manage deadlines
• Confident communicating with a range of stakeholders
