Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Cardiff - Hybrid 3 days in the office 2 or site
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to independently manage a variety of pre- and post-contract activities. The role involves working on cost and commercial management tasks, ensuring projects meet budgetary and quality objectives while adhering to timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage measurement and billing using sector-relevant standards (e.g., MMHW, CESMM, NRM).

Prepare and review preamble notes, codify measured works, and analyze cost data.

Produce estimates, cost reports, and tender documentation, including financial assessments.

Oversee contract administration, including budget monitoring, cost auditing, and change management.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of commercial and assurance deliverables.

Maintain records, manage documentation, and attend client meetings to present findings.

Support and mentor junior team members, including Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
Qualifications & Skills:

Degree (minimum 2.1 or equivalent) in a relevant field with demonstrable experience in cost and contract management.

Preferably an Associate member of RICS or similar recognized body.

Strong IT proficiency (Excel essential).

Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
