We are currently seeking a skilled External Facades Manager to join a major high-rise residential new build project in Cardiff on a 3-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing site team and take ownership of the external envelope phase of the build.
Role Overview:
As External Facades Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the external works package, ensuring safety, quality, and programme targets are achieved. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage daily site activity, and report progress to the senior project team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the delivery of the full external envelope including cladding, brickwork, windows, and roofing
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure programme milestones are met
Ensure high standards of health & safety and quality assurance
Coordinate inspections and sign-offs
Resolve on-site technical or programme issues in real time Requirements:
Proven experience managing external facades on high-rise or complex residential builds
Strong understanding of façade systems, installation processes, and relevant building regulations
Able to read and interpret drawings and technical documentation
CSCS card and SMSTS/SSSTS certification
Immediately available and able to commit for 3 months
Cardiff-based or within daily travel distance Contract Details:
