Hours: Monday to Friday, office based, 8:00am to 5:00pm with an extra early finish on a Friday!

Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Estimator based at our client's offices in Canvey Island. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Compiling accurate take-offs and estimates from mechanical layout drawings/schematics
• Analysing drawings, specifications, schedules and other relevant documentation
• Liaising with project managers, engineers and clients to gather specific project requirements

Role Requirements

• Experience in estimation and costing
• Ability to read and understand construction layout drawings and schematics
• Ability to manage own workload and ensure return deadlines are met
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience in using Ensign estimating and pricing software is essential!
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
