We are seeking a talented and motivated Residential Architect to join our team and lead the design and development of residential projects from initial concept through to completion. The successful candidate will combine strong design skills with technical knowledge, project management ability, and an understanding of planning and building regulations.

• Develop creative and practical architectural designs for residential projects.
• Prepare concept designs, planning applications, technical drawings, specifications, and construction information.
• Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, budgets, and aspirations.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Manage projects through relevant design and construction stages.
• Ensure designs comply with planning requirements, building regulations, and applicable standards.
• Attend site visits and meetings and respond to construction queries.
• Review drawings, materials, and workmanship during construction.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, and deliverables where required.
• Present design proposals clearly to clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.

• Degree or professional qualification in Architecture or a related field.
• Experience in residential architecture, ideally across a range of project types and scales.
• Strong design, drawing, and presentation skills.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
• Familiarity with planning and building regulations.
• Proficiency in relevant architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Good attention to detail and a practical, problem-solving approach.

• Professional architectural registration or chartership.
• Experience with residential extensions, renovations, new-build homes, or larger residential developments.
• Experience managing projects from concept through construction.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and energy-efficient construction.
• Experience liaising with planning authorities, building control, and contractors.
