As our Groundworks Foreman, you’ll be the on-site powerhouse ensuring our teams deliver safely, efficiently and to the highest standard. You will:

• Lead risk assessment briefings and toolbox talks
• Make sure operatives work effectively, safely and productively
• Ensure the right plant, equipment and materials are on site at the right time
• Work independently AND bring the team together when it counts
• Implement safe excavation methods around buried services
• Drive Quality, Health & Safety and Production standards through strong engagement
• Read site programmes and turn them into real-world action
• Bring expert knowledge of all groundwork elements (drainage, ground beams, roads, sub-structure concrete, externals, slabs, cut & fill – you name it!)
• Show strong commercial awareness
• Manage sub-contractors like a pro
• Communicate confidently with clients
• Read drawings and understand every build detail

• Reliability, punctuality, professionalism
• Ability to work smoothly alongside other trades
• Commitment to delivering the programme on time
• Right to work in the UK
• Completion of company induction & IT training within 1–3 months

CSCS Supervisor
First Aid at Work
Safety Critical Medical
