Are you an experienced Site Manager ready for an exciting challenge? Join my client, a leading Tier 1 contractor, to oversee the construction of a substation for the UK Power Networks contract in Bury St Edmunds. This is part of a wider framework with potential work for up to 5 years.

Site Manager Location: Bury St Edmunds, Min 6 month contracts offered

Responsibilities:

• Manage on-site activities to ensure successful delivery of the substation project.
• Supervise site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Enforce health and safety protocols.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates.
• Resolve on-site issues and liaise with stakeholders.
• Manage site documentation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in substation builds - ideally electrically biased with high voltage experience
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS card).
