Fixed Wire Testing Engineer

•    Annual Salary: £34,070 - £36,342 per annum

•    Location: Bristol area

•    Job Type: Full-time / perm

We are looking for someone with a background within Fixed Wire Testing Engineer to join a company based within Bristol. We are looking for experienced Electricians with expertise in Electrical Testing and Inspection, particularly Fixed Wire Testing.

Day-to-day of the role:

•    Conduct Inspecting & Testing on customer’s electrical installations (EICR’s) including Emergency Lighting Testing, Fire Alarm Inspections, Mains Analysis, Thermal Imaging, and small remedial repairs as needed.

•    Complete all relevant reports and certification associated with your inspection & testing using our cloud-based certification software.

•    Ensure all reports and certification are completed and submitted on time.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

•    NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 & 2 qualification.

•    City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification.

•    City & Guilds 2391/2394 & 2395.

•    Proven experience in an electrical testing environment.

•    Flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including evening/twilight shifts.

•    Full UK Driving Licence

•    IPAF 3a & 3b licence.

•    Experience with Electrical installation/project work.

•    Understanding of UK Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace.
