This role seeks a proactive Facilities Manager to lead in maintaining the daily operations of facilities within a public sector organisation. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing facilities management policies and procedures, as well as managing the function.

Description
As a Facilities Manager your responsibilities will include:

Lead the Facilities Management team to ensure efficient daily operations.

Develop and implement Facilities Management policies and procedures.

Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to maximise value for money.

Coordinate Continuity Plan.
-
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
-
Oversee maintenance and repair of facilities.
-
Coordinate space planning and manage office moves.
-
Prepare and manage the budget forecast and management for all services.

Manage team performance
-
Contribute to sustainability initiatives within the organisation.
Profile
A successful Facilities Manager should have:

A degree or equivalent qualification in Facilities Management or a related field - BIFM Member Grade or above

NEBOSH knowledge of Health & Safety legislation & statutory requirements.

Change management experience
-
Strong leadership and team management skills.
-
Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
-
Knowledge of Data Protection Act

Experience in budget management and financial reporting.

Microsoft Office 365 experience
Job Offer
