We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our London Commercial Team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in delivering our current commitments and shaping our future strategy, leaving a lasting impact on the organisation.
Day-to-day of the role:
-
Establish and manage commercial processes and procedures to protect revenue.

Drive the delivery of contractual obligations and governance throughout the project lifecycle, managing commercial risk to the business.

Evaluate and advise on the financial implications of potential decisions.

Provide guidance on conflict avoidance, management, and resolution, including compiling evidence in the debt resolution process.

Manage projects at all stages, from advising on pre-contract negotiations to change management and final account agreement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
-
Demonstrable experience working on complex projects with values up to £10 million.

Experience working on contractual claims and change management
-
Worked on loss & expenses, EoT, VOs etc.

Experience within the construction or infrastructure sectors.

Working knowledge of JCT and/or NEC forms of contract.

Quick thinking with excellent problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
