Your new role
Working as part of the property team in West Yorkshire, it will be your responsibility as repairs/maintenance surveyor to carry out surveys and property inspections and oversee the delivery of repairs to ensure they are completed safely, within set timeframes and to the appropriate standard. You will also be responsible for ensuring void properties are to a letting standard. Customer satisfaction will be at the forefront of your mind.

What you'll need to succeed

• HNC/HND or equivalent in building/construction or relevant maintenance/construction experience
• Understanding of responsive repairs, voids work, planned and cyclical repairs requirements.
• Be able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines, working with minimal supervision
• A customer focus, with the ability to communicate and empathise with tenants
• Numeracy and literacy skills are essential. Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, housing, and property management systems.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use. Flexible to travel in West Yorkshire.
• Ability to be proactive and work on own initiative, with limited supervision.
