Description

Conducting detailed property surveys and producing comprehensive reports.

Expert witness and court attendance (occasionally) required

Section 11 and 82

Identifying and diagnosing property defects and disrepair.

Providing expert advice on disrepair and remedial actions.

Ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and regulations.

Collaborating with internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery.

Contributing to the continuous improvement of surveying processes.

Liaising with contractors and overseeing quality of work.

Managing and resolving any disrepair disputes in a timely manner.
Profile
A successful Interim Disrepair Surveyor should have:

A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.

Extensive knowledge of building construction and property disrepair.

Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in using surveying software and tools.
