Role: Administrator

Location: HS2 BBV, Main Compound, Washwood Heath, Birmingham B8 2QE

Standard Rate: £13.72 per hour PAYE

Typical hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 - 17:00 (Please note there is no flexibility on the hours)

If you are looking for an exciting new opportunity then consider using your skills and experience by working as an Administrator on HS2 site, main compound based in Washwood Heath. (The role is based on a construction site)

As an Administrator you will aid Site Management with tasks related to time and cost management for labour, plant, and equipment.

Additionally, assist other business functions, primarily the delivery team, with administrative duties as needed.

Duties of the Administrator include:

• Collect and check weekly timesheets using the "TIPS" software.
• Add cost codes and make sure payroll follows company rules.
• Keep records for labour, equipment, and costs up to date.
• Help with payroll, resource allocation, and other admin tasks.
• Work with HR and other teams for hiring, leaving, and managing absences.
• Visit site to check records and resolve any issues.

The successful administrator must possess the following:

• Ideally would come from a construction or similar background.
• Have a proven track record of working within a busy administration environment.
• Good attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Excellent IT skills including word processing, spreadsheets and reporting software.
