Project Manager – Midlands

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in commercial groundworks to lead challenging projects across the Midlands and surrounding areas . This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, well-organised environment, delivering high-quality results on commercial groundworks projects.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
• Proven experience in commercial groundworks on projects up to £10m
• Ability to produce and manage project programmes
• Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
• Relevant qualifications and certifications (e.g. SMSTS, CSCS )
• Strong understanding of compliance, health & safety, and industry regulations
• Full UK driving licence

Key Skills:

• Self-motivated and confident in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent planning, organisation, and coordination abilities
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to lead and collaborate with engineers, quantity surveyors, and wider project teams
• IT proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel) + experience with specialist software (e.g. project management tools, Field View)

Additional Details:

• Location: West Midlands (must be able to commute or relocate before starting)
• Site Hours: 07:30 – 17:00
• Salary/Day Rate: Competitive & negotiable based on experience ( freelance positions available )
