Mobile Electrical & Metering Engineer

Our client in Bishops Stortford is a well-established organisation providing onsite data collection and energy reporting. This role is to install, maintain and audit data collection equipment & infrastructure.

Working individually and assisting electrically qualified staff. Delivering energy monitoring and billing solutions across the UK.

You: Electrically qualified 18th Edition minimum. Ideally to test and inspection standard.
Working individually or part of a team. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and customers. A desire to gain knowledge and develop skills to improve your work performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Understanding different types of metering equipment
  • Installation of final circuits
  • Installation of data collection equipment
  • Installation of smart metering equipment
  • Ability to manage own workload (self-sufficient)
  • Site surveys for new and existing sites
  • Customer facing & communication
  • Equipment testing and auditing
  • Accurate recording of information and results
  • Using I.T and industry specific equipment daily
  • Willingness to learn / develop new skills and qualifications

The Role:
  • Head Office: Bishop Stortford
  • Job Location: London & UK
  • Hours Per Week: 40 Monday - Friday
  • Start time: 8am (on site)
  • Role Type: Permanent
  • Reporting to: Engineering Manager
  • Occasional UK travel / overnight stays required
  • Primarily Residential / Commercial site work
  • Some building site work
