Service Care Solutions is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Facilities Management (FM) and Capital Projects for a client in Bexleyheath . The successful candidate will lead the strategy, management, and governance of facilities management, capital projects, corporate health & safety, and emergency planning.

It is a full time, 12 months contract offering £350 per day Umbrella LTD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy Leadership: Direct the strategic planning and implementation of FM operations, capital projects, and corporate health & safety initiatives.
• Capital Project Management: Oversee the development and execution of the Council's capital programme, including projects related to schools, corporate properties, and carbon reduction.
• Property Asset Management: Ensure the Council's property assets are maintained, inspected, and compliant with all legal and regulatory standards.
• Health & Safety: Lead the formulation of the Council's health & safety strategy, including emergency planning and business continuity.
• FM Transformation: Transform and manage the FM service, with a preference for candidates experienced in working within a corporate landlord model.

Requirements:

• Professional Accreditation: CIWFM or similar professional qualification.
• Public Sector Experience: Significant experience in local or central government or a major public sector organisation.
• Project Leadership: Proven experience in leading complex corporate and service projects, including the management of major capital projects.
• Health & Safety Expertise: Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and experience in developing and implementing related strategies.
• Financial Management: Demonstrated experience in budget management and financial oversight.
• Transformational Leadership: Experience in transforming and running FM services, with an understanding of the corporate landlord model preferred.
