Were seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a windows and doors replacement scheme onoccupied social housing in Berwick-upon-Tweed.
This is a hands-on role requiring a strong leader who can manage day-to-day site operations while ensuring minimal disruption to residents and strict adherence to health & safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:Manage the delivery of window and door replacement works across multiple occupied properties
Liaise with tenants, subcontractors, and the client to ensure smooth communication and access
Ensure works are completed to a high standard, on time, and within scope
Monitor and enforce on-site health and safety regulations
Maintain site records, including daily logs, inspections, and progress reports
Resolve issues on-site efficiently, maintaining professionalism in occupied environments
Proven experience managing works on occupied properties
SMSTS (or SSSTS), CSCS card, and First Aid certification
Excellent organisational, communication, and people skills
Ability to manage subcontractors and trades on a live site
Calm, courteous, and professional approach when dealing with residents
