Our client is a large local government organisation and looking for an eperienced Senior Buiding Control professional to join their team

This is initially a 6 month contract which may be extended for the right applicant

You will

Assist the Bulding Control Manager with the running of the building control function as well assisting the manager with enforcement action to ensure the business obligations under the Building Act and associated legislation.

You will also allocate and check demolition notices, dangerous structures and unauthorised works / inital notices

You will be tasked with fee checking, project cost calculations and raising invoices as well as Liaise &/or consult with external agencies, stakeholders, statutory undertakers, the public, contractors, professional persons, elected members & internal departments

To be considered for this role you will need the below

Must be registered with the Building Safety Regulator to Class 3 - Specialist Building Inspector

Must be a full member of the RICS, CABE, or equivalent & have considerable recent experience working as an operational Building Control Inspector within a Building Control Unit. Must have a degree or equivalent
