Receptionist

A leading contractor based in the south is seeking an experienced Receptionist to join their business on a temporary basis, for cover. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with an extensive background as a reputable contractor.

This regional contractor traditionally specialises in education, health & industrial new builds, refurbishments & extensions across Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex and Surrey for private and framework clients. The role of Receptionist will be based in their office in Basingstoke, Hampshire.

• Answering phones and management of the business switchboards
• Email management and diary management
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including distribution and dispatch
• Supporting the management team with ad hoc tasks and projects as required
• Attending to all visitors

• Previous experience within the construction industry is ideal but not essential
• Prior exposure within a Receptionist, Administrative or Office Manager role is fundamental
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail is key
