Are you a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor looking for a role where you’ll have real autonomy, a relaxed working environment, and the opportunity to make an impact?

Our client is a well-established groundworks company with a variety of contracts ranging from £20,000 to £20.5 million. Their projects cover a range of sectors, including housing, demolition, NHS sites, and schools. With their current QS stepping away, we are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team and take the lead in managing costs, contracts, and reporting directly to their Director.

The Role:

• Overseeing all aspects of quantity surveying for groundworks projects
• Managing budgets, contracts, and cost reporting
• Preparing and reviewing P&L reports in monthly meetings with the Director
• Opportunity to contribute to business development and win new contracts
• Working in a close-knit, relaxed team

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified Quantity Surveyor (groundworks experience preferred but not essential).
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of tasks.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Someone who enjoys a team with a sense of humor and a no-nonsense approach.
