We are currently recruiting for a skilled Joiner to carry out fire door installations on a live project. This role is ideal for someone with strong 2nd fix experience and attention to detail.
Position Details:Job Title: Joiner (Fire Door Installer)
Pay Rate: £23.00 per hour (CIS)
Location: Tamworth B78
Start Date: ASAP
Card Requirement: CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card essential
Installing fire doors to current fire safety regulations
Fitting door frames, linings, architraves, and ironmongery (hinges, locks, closers, etc.)
Ensuring all fire doors are installed plumb, level, and in line with manufacturer guidelines
Carrying out remedial work or adjustments on existing doors as required
Accurately measuring, cutting, and trimming to achieve a precise fit
Reading and working from technical drawings and schedules
Ensuring compliance with fire safety and building regulations
Liaising with site managers and other trades as needed
Maintaining a safe and tidy working area
Following all site health & safety procedures

✔ Attention to detail and ability to work independently
