CRC are looking for an experienced Industrial Pipe Fitter to work from Aylesbury with travel throughout the UK

You'll be joining a company with a huge order book of projects throughout the UK. You'll be managing the sites of both install and maintainence on piping systems at petrol stations, ideally you'll have experience within oil and gas however industrial pipe fitting experience would be okay. The role will involve working away from home all travel and accomodation will be paid for, you'll also have a company vehicle and fuel card.

This is a full time permanent position and the salary on offer is negotiable depending on experience. Start date immediately after interview and notice period.

Duties:

  • To assist the Contracts Manager with pre-start details and attend pre-start meetings with the client as necessary to ensure smooth site set up and full knowledge of the project to manage it through to completion.
  • To issue monthly site progress reports to the Contracts Manager and client to monitor progress against the programme schedule.
  • Ensuring all site attendees (direct employees and subcontractors) work in line with Health & Safety procedures / initiatives
  • managing and directing sub-contractor partners, ensuring work packages are delivered safely,
  • Checking work carried out by those sub-contractors and assessing the delivery is in line with programme design drawings and quality standards,
  • Review risk assessments and method statements from sub-contractors to ensure working methods outlined are safe and appropriate,
  • Carry out toolbox talks and site inductions to ensure full compliance with Kier standards,
  • Co-ordinate site logistics, movement of plant and labour too, from an around site ensuring safety is maintained in doing so.
  • To be the Point of contact for Health and Safety Audits on site Projects
  • Resolving problems and implementing improvements in construction processes.
  • Maintaining communication between project managers, site staff, and clients.

Requirments:

  • Full clean UK driving license
  • SMSTS
  • UKPIA (desireable)
  • First Aid (desireable)

Start date: Immediately - pending interviews and notice period
