About the Role
Our client’s Real Estate team has a stellar reputation across a wide range of industries and markets. Their Scotland-based team plays a key role in delivering seamless, award-winning services across the full spectrum of real estate work, including:
  • Development
  • Joint ventures
  • Structured investments
  • Acquisitions and disposals
  • Landlord and tenant matters
  • Retail and real estate finance
  • Construction and property litigation
The team represents high-profile clients covering retail, government and transport sectors, combining cutting-edge legal expertise with deep market and industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
As part of the team, you will work on a wide range of UK and international real estate transactions , delivering client-focused, commercially minded solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Advising on development and infrastructure projects .
  • Handling investment-based acquisitions and disposals , including corporate share acquisitions.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams, including construction and planning specialists.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial real estate documents (e.g., sale/purchase contracts, easements, licences, agreements for lease).
  • Conducting real estate due diligence, including preparing and reviewing certificates/reports on title.
  • Managing asset and portfolio work and advising on general landlord/tenant leasing matters.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a solicitor with:
  • Expertise in development, infrastructure projects , and investment transactions.
  • Experience with multidisciplinary projects involving construction and planning colleagues.
  • Strong skills in drafting and negotiating real estate documents.
  • A background in real estate due diligence and portfolio management.
  • A commercially driven, client-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • 6+ PQE working at a comparable law firm.
