Financial Accountant | Construction| £35 - 40k (DOE) plus bonus and benefits | London (hybrid)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a market leader in the Construction industry in a broad Financial Accounting role within a growing division. Reporting into an impressive Finance Director and becoming part of a very ambitious wider finance function, this is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified auditor to make the first move from practice into industry.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Setting up all financial reporting processes for this newly-established division
• Producing accurate and timely statutory accounts
• Preparing monthly management reports
• Balance sheet reconcilations, management reporting and P&L
• Supporting the Finance team to ensure that periodic divisional reporting is prepared accurately and in accordance with corporate policy
• Identify opportunities across systems and process to drive improvements

Experience required:

• Part or fully qualified accountant
• strong experience in accounts prep and management reporting
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and Sage
• Strong communicator
• Bookeeping experience ideally
